Metal material heat treatment technology is an important process of machinery manufacturing. Heat treatment process is to improve the performance of metal parts, the key technology of developing metal material potential usages. Heat treatment is high energy consumption in machinery manufacturing industry in China. Due to the production equipment and backward in technology, the production process management and coarsening causes such as large energy consumption, low efficiency during the heat treatment processes. It became the bottleneck of energy saving and emissions reduction, and it restricts the development of heat treatment industry in our country seriously.In this paper, we study the application of modern information technology to heat treatment production, the combination of advanced internet the things technology and heat treatment technology, developing intelligent heat treatment system, to achieve heat treatment energy conservation and emissions reduction. First by analyzing the principle of heat treatment, processes, study the factors that affecting energy consumption of heat treatment, and then from the heat treatment processes accuracy control, the lean production management research and find energy saving method, finally develop based on the Internet the things intelligent system to achieve intelligent control of heat treatment, so as to achieve the target of energy saving.The basic principle of heat treatment is by heating the metal to make the phase change, and properly control the cooling process of metallographic structure to obtained the corresponding performance, so the heating the metal is main part of energy consumption of heat treatment. This article mainly researches the energy saving methods from two aspects.(1) through the heat treatment heating metal phase change, such as diffusion, heat stress in the process and phenomenon of theoretical analysis, the establishment of vacuum heat treatment and multi-purposes furnace carburizing heat treatment heating mathematical model, calculation of heating temperature-time curve parameters, under the situation of making sure the good quality of heat treatment and equipments safety, reduce the workpiece heat treatment heating energy consumption. Key technology is based on the heating temperature--time curve, dynamic adjustment of heating temperature with intelligent control system, to replace the traditional heat preservation temperature--time control mode.(2) through the Internet the things technology in the production of heat treatment to aechieve the lean management, scientific production scheduling and spell furnace operation, improve efficiency and make full use of the equipment of waste heat, to get further achievement of energy saving.Heat treatment based on Internet the things intelligent system consists of three modules.(1)Real-time measurement and control subsystem, use KingView6.55configuration software as the platform, real time monitoring the the production equipment, the technological process and parameters of the process, and through the database system for data exchange, and intelligent system of executives with the advantages of flexible configuration, high efficiency on development, and easy to expand.(2) SQL2005database as platform in the production management subsystem, the system with PHP.NET as the programming language to achieve the system function. Production management subsystem mainly for the difficult problems in the production of heat treatment, such as the production of single, varieties, small batch, processing process across different equipments, labor shift factors, based on the RFID identification will achieve the heat treatment workpiece online production and inventory tracking, implement manufacturing execution units at all levels to get the reasonable coordination, to solve the problems of how to achieve the lean management on heat treatment workpiece production, management and logistics.(3)digital video surveillance subsystem, real-time monitoring and video on the on important production sites, equipments and workpiece, back to site management and responsibility. Intelligent system in internet of things mode of three subsystems network interconnection and data fusion, data sharing is achieved. In this paper, design of intelligent heat treatment system has been put into use in the factory, and relies on this system; enhance the energy saving and management level of the whole factory, obtained good economic benefit.
