With the rapid development of plastic industry, the injection moulding machinehas been applied more and more widely, which drove the development of handingdevice that matching to the injection moulding machine. At the same time, it alsoimproved the design of the handing device’s control system.As an important part of the handing device’s control system, the electricalinterface emulator that is designed in this paper meets the EuropeanStandard-EUROMAP67, which is in charge of simulating the injection mouldingprocess and performing the movements through the mutual information betweeninjection moulding machine and handing device, such as gripping an object andclamping the nozzle.In the combination with specific research project, this paper firstly introduces therelevant knowledge of injection moulding machine and summarizes the developmentof electrical interface standard of injection moulding machine and handing device.Secondly, the specific content of EUROMAP67is presented. According to thefunctional requirements of handing device’s control system, this paper also implementsthe hardware and software design of the electrical interface emulator which based onDSP chip TMS320F28035. At last, a joint debugging of hardware and software of thesimulator is performed.User acceptance conclusion shows that the electrical interface emulator canaccomplish a variety of complicated injection moulding process with the cooperationof the rest parts of handing device’s control system.
