| Aluminum alloy and magnesium alloy are widely used in automotive, aerospace andother machining fields with excellent physical properties. Cutting oil and emulsified oil isthe most widely used as Cutting Liquors for aluminum alloy in the current market.However,most of them only for a single material effect are remarkable. Therefore, as amulti-functional, high-efficiency water-based cutting fluid has attracted more and morepeople’s attention.The proprieties of water-based cutting fluid were studied by using6306ã€LY12CZaluminum alloy, AZ91D〠AM30magnesium alloy laid in the cutting fluid with water assolvent, borate as extreme pressure lubricant, LGZ inhibitor, oleic acid triethanolamine andCHB as inhibitors, triethanolamine oleate and fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether assurfactants and the other auxiliaries. The consumption of chiral reagent was certained bylaminated antirust and orthogonal experiment. The efficiency and interactions of theinhibitors were researched by polarization curve method. And the maximum nonseizureload PBvalue was tested on Four ball tester.The results showed that: the interaction of imidazoline amide, triethanolamine oleateand CHB is synergistic effect. The inhibition efficiencies are89.6%,93.5%,83.5%and86.4%. for the6306and LY12CZ aluminum alloy, AZ91D and AM30magnesium alloyrespectively.Water-based cutting fluid formula is:imidazoline amide0.7%; oleic acidtriethanolamine0.5%; boric acid ester0.15%; CHB1.6%; fatty alcohol polyoxyethyleneether0.8%; borax0.05%; dimethyl silicone oil0.1%; sodium benzoate0.05%. Themonolithic rust resistance time of Cutting fluid is48hours, laminated antirust time is24hours, full immersion test time is36hours. The surface tension of Cutting fluid is36mN/m, maximum nonseizure load is greater than540N. The indicators of cutting fluidindicators are higher than the national standard requirements. |
