Lanzhou Petrochemical Company CNPC is one set of oil refining、chemical industry、 equipment manufacturing、construction、maintenance and repair and mining service as one of the large-scale integrated refinery and petrochemical enterprises, which owned90refining units, and is an important petrochemical production bases in Western China. It is very prominent on the status of the energy strategy. Continuous production is the characteristics of petrochemical enterprise. The pursuit of continuous production is the prerequisite of enterprise to create benefits. With the continuous production, it will gradually exposes more and more various factors that restrict long period operation of the plants. Lanzhou petrochemical company installation overhaul is an important and necessary work each year. Lanzhou Petrochemical Company overhaul project management is the most important work in the management of overhaul. Reasonable schedules for enterprises can win more time, and gains benefit earlier. After nearly60years development of the enterprise, it is also the improving process of overhaul schedule management. Whether it is from scheduled maintenance in the past or to preventive maintenance later, and predictive maintenance today, schedule management throughout the whole process of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company overhaul project management, research on the overhaul schedule management is still very necessary.Paper first provided an overview of refinery equipment management and project scheduling management theories, and introduced Lanzhou petrochemical equipment management mode, and then using the PDCA cycle management approach analyzed overhaul project progress management of acrylic acid plant of Lanzhou Petrochemical Company, especially focusing on researching acrylic acid plant scheduling and controlling process. Research found that acrylic acid plant scheduling process method is single and lack of floating time. Schedule control process unable to give consideration to the problem of maintenance quality etc. Aiming at the existing problems, analyzed the reason, and based on this, putted forward some specific measures, and then made the optimization program of installation overhaul. Finally paper analyzed the problems that the optimization program might encounter in the actual implementation process, and putted forward specific measures of protection. Due to the generic nature of refinery maintenance features, making the conclusion of this paper has the advantages of universal, which has a certain guiding significance.
