Nowadays,with the science and technology developed at an increasingly rapid rate,project implementation plays an irreplaceable role in the development of a company.As a scientific management method,it runs through the entire period of a project.It is more widely used and plays a more important part in a project.Thus,to promote the management of a project actively is essential to improve the management level and competition capacities.The 8000t/d mining extension project of XC mineral company,which is the study target of this thesis,covers many fields,with the construction complex,deadline urgent,quality demanding,implement hard and amount of investment large.Moreover,the problem of connection between different production departments may emerge in the implementation process of the extension project.Therefore,the thesis analyzes and demonstrates the way XC mineral company solve problems and then makes careful plan and control,considering the actual situation and characteristics.Through research,this thesis argues that:firstly,XC mineral company should take a scientific and rational approach to detail the planning and controlling aspects,based on the overall object of the extension project.(1)Completing the project schedule.The milestone method facing an important event should be used clearly.WBS decomposition should be made combined with the theories and methods of project management,according to the current project management experience.(2)Strengthening the project schedule control.The various factors that may affect the progress should be found out and be predictive analysis firstly in the company extension project construction progress,then prevention and resolution measures would be developed based on the actual situation of the project.Meanwhile,the actual progress of the site,resource utilization,quality safety and other information should be timely monitored and feedback.In addition,real-time progress of the project should be compared with the project goals to find the existence of bias.In order to manage the project schedule more effectively,more comprehensive quality control methods can be considered adopt,such as PDCA(Plan,Do,Check,Action)cycle method.Secondly,in the actual extension project management process,it is necessary to take the following measures to ensure the effective implementation of schedule and control programs:adjusting the construction ideas in time,establishing good communication mechanisms,establishing and improving the XC mineral company's reporting system,establishing the extension project schedule and control responsibility system,strengthening training and learning of the project management team.
