In this paper, be set in the set control engineering for the four stations belong to Zhikong power generation Branch Company at Lhasa River basin in Tibet, the scheduling and monitoring system structure of cascade power stations in Lhasa River is designed. On that basis, the site selection of the centralized control center, the channel construction and the comprehensive automation function were analyzed. At the same time, operation and management patterns of Zhikong power generation Branch Company were discussed. The economic and social benefit was also analyzed. The main research achievements and details of the paper are shown as follows:(1)According to the design principle, the scheduling and monitoring system structure of cascade power stations in Lhasa River was analyzed and selected. The electric network management patterns were also discussed.(2)According to the actual situations of the four generating stations in Zhikong, the site selection of the centralized control center, the channel construction among the four stations, the configuration of comprehensive automation system were investigated, analyzed and studied in detail.(3)Three mathematical model of the economic dispatch in cascade power stations was analyzed. On that basis, cascade dispatching patterns that suit for Zhikong power generation Branch Company were established.(4)The operation and management patterns of Zhikong power generation Branch Company were discussed. The economic and social benefit produced by the project operation was also analyzed.
