The erosion problem becomes more and more serious while the scaling-up of Circulating Fluidized Bed. Material erosion of heating surface, because of mass circulating fluidized materials combusting at low temperature, is a very crucial problem of CFB boilers.Wear marks on water wall tube, cinder cooler and immersed tube are more than other components, and water wall tubes are worn the worst.As the differentiated structure of dual-support leg fluidized bed, the wear mechanism it is different from the common rectangular bed. Numerical simulation methods were used in this work to research on dual-support leg fluidized boiler. Erosion on the transition area and the corner of the furnace were investigated by imitating the flowage and velocity profile of bed material. Moreover, small scale cold-state experiments were conducted to forecast the erosion position, which is up move to100-140mm of the furnace with the boss set on it, and verify the accuracy of the numerical methods.
