This paper combines the author's practice with the problem that common exists of water wall wear of the modern large CFB boiler, utilized the already existed theoretical research achievements and the operation conditions of the worksite and proceed from the specific characteristics of CFB boiler fluid mechanics, calculated and analyses the particle size distribution and particle concentration distribution in the CFB boiler furnace based on the clearly understanding of the operation characteristic ,wear mechanism and the influence elements of the CFB boiler ,proved that the particle size distribution and particle concentration distribution is the necessary conditions of the water wall wear of CFB boilers, in addition that the particles against the water wall scour the wall from longitudinal direction, the scouring speed related with the terminal subside speed of the particle. The water wall wear mainly occurred on the irregular water wall surface in rare phase, the effective measures are promoted in the view above. At the end ,the paper built the mathematical simulation of CFB boiler water wall wear and some approximate calculations was done on water wall wear by making use of some related parameters.
