| In recent years, wind power grows rapidly in China. With large-scale wind power access to power system, it’s difficult to consume all the wind powe in power grid. Moreover, the safe and economic operation of power system is affected. Because the power structure,grid structure and energy storage capacity can’t be improved effectively in a short time. Selecting the appropriate scheduling mode and taking science and reasonable generation scheduling is the most direct and effective means to promote wind power consumption and economical and safe operation of power system. Therefore, researching on how to select suitable dispatching mode, make reasonable scheduling has important significance.Due to the intermittent,anti-peaking and stochastic nature of wind power, the generation scheduling aimed at minimizing wind power curtailment may cause thermal units significantly deviating from their optimal economic operating area,which will increase the coal consumption in power systems. In order to analyze the impact of large-scale wind power integrate to power system on the energy consumption of thermal units,optimal dispatching model are built corresponding to two wind power dispatching modes,i,e, minimizing the wind powe shedding or minimizing the coal comsumption respectively by combining the policies about renewable resources geneneration and the basic aim or criteration of energy saving generation dispatch. Then economic evaluation indices of wind power dispatching modes are proposed based on the cost-benefit analysis of all the stakeholders involved in power system. Finally, the two dispatching modes are anlyzed and compared under different levels of wind power in the power grid in a ten-unit test system and IEEE39nodes system. The result indicate that the wind power dispatching mode based on minimization of energy consumption is more economical than that of minimizing wind power curtailment. |
