With the contradiction among energy, consumption and environment more and more prominent, as renewable energy banner wind power has become hot research spot in the world. In china, although wind power has stepped into rapid development phase, with the increasing number of wind farms, how to accept and consume wind power is a challenge for the construction of smart grid and influences the stability, economic dispatching and management of the entire power system greatly.In this paper, firstly the domestic and foreign research status of wind power generation were elaborated, the advantages and the disadvantages of wind power were introduced, and a series of issues caused by grid-connected wind power were analyzed. Secondly, the internal and external factors of reliability and economy for grid-connected wind power were discussed. New reliability and economy indicators which were consistent with the wind farm own features were established to evaluate the reliability and economy of grid-connected wind power comprehensively. Energy saving and emissions benefits were considered from the angle of environmental science, numerical example was used to validate the feasibility and correctness of the indicators. Thirdly, the microgrid structure of wind power was built, the processing flow chart of intelligent management system for microgrid was painted, intelligent dispatch center of micro-grid wind power was constructed, the function of each module was described, economic dispatch strategies were explored in the condition of grid-connected and grid-divorced operation. Finally construction cost model for micro-grid wind farm was set up by using mathematical model which comprised the target function and constraints, and operation cost model for it was established respectively from grid-connected and grid-divorced operation mode, and on basis of these the comprehensive cost model was set up, the rationality and validity of the model was verified through numerical example analysis. This paper provides important mirror and reference value for wind power development policy-making, planning and designing, production and operation management and economic dispatching.
