The steel highway bridge deck pavement is a issue difficult to solve and cause theattention of many bridge engineers. This paper take the new type of bridge deck pavementstructure " lightweight concrete+synchronous surface bonding layer+SMA13waterprooflayer" as the research object. Mechanical properties of steel-lightweight concreteCombination structure and deck pavement were studied. The main work accomplishedinclude:(1)The full-scale model test of Steel-lightweight concrete bridge structure;(2)The static and fatigue test of stud connector;(3)The temperature field test and analysis of bridge deck pavement;(4)The shear/pull out tests of waterproof bonding layer in site and interior;(5)Lightweight concrete mixture ratio test;(6)Economic analysis of several bridge deck pavement scheme;Through the experimental study and theoretical analysis, get the main technical indexesof this new type of bridge deck pavement structure. Research shows that the new type ofbridge deck pavement structure " lightweight concrete+synchronous surface bonding layer+SMA13waterproof layer" has Following Advantages:construction simple, even byforce,the cost is low,etc. which has wide application prospects in the medium and small bridgemodels.
