With the rapid development of economy, the development of bridge industry inour country has made great progress. As an important part of the bridge, the deckpavement is a dispersion layer and protective layer for the bridge. But in the processof the construction and design, only take it as a subsidiary structure of the bridge, hasno professional calculation and analysis, only refer to the pavement design and therequirements of construction technical. In recent years, emerging bridge deckdamage began to attract attention.Based on this, this article through the establishment of three-dimensional finiteelement model of bridge deck pavement structure, calculating software analysis ofthe stress characteristics of pavement structure under loads the paving layer usingANSYS, hoping to make some useful explorations on deck pavement structure designtheory.The main calculation content is divided into three parts. The first part is the stressanalysis of pavement structure under the static loads, the vertical deformationof pavement and the maximum principal stress appear on the top of the deckpavement, the maximum shear stresses in the pavement appears between the upperand the lower pavement. And based on it, also consider the impact of overloading andhorizontal force when it act on pavement; the second part is the analysis ofthe characteristic of the waterproof layer when it apply on the pavement, and comparewith the pavement there is no waterproof layer. Come to a conclusion, the pavementwith no waterproof layer, its vertical deformation is bigger than the pavement there isno waterproof layer, but for the pavement with waterproof, its maximum shear on thetop of the upper deck and the lower deck is less than the other one. And on the top ofthe pavement layer, its shear stress decreases the maximum degree. Andthe further considerations of waterproof layer are elastic modulus and thickness ofwaterproof layer on stress of pavement layer; the third part is the analysis of thecharacteristics for bridge deck pavement under moving vehicle loads. And comparedwith the static load, its stress and deformation are less than the static analysis. And the maximum shear stress appears in the bottom of the lower pavement, next consider theimpact of mechanical properties for vehicle speed, horizontal force and overloadin dynamic calculation of bridge deck pavement.
