The engine providing power is the main components for a motor vehicle. At present,vehicle engine in China is developing in the direction of high speed, high efficiency aswell as high power. With the development of new technology of turbocharger, fuelStratified Injection directly puts into use, the efficiency of engine become higher andhigher. But how to keep the strength and reliability is a problem for the new type ofengine. As power of engine increases, the load of parts in engine increases too. It willincrease engine scuffing and decrease the working Service life of engine. Therefore,it isvery important to built a simulation model of the connecting rod small end, then find outthe reason of affect the lubricating oil film formative, for improving performance oftribology and working Performance of the engine.This paper makes analysis for the bearing between piston pin and small end ofconnecting rod. In this position, the running conditions of the parts are very bad becauseof the high temperature and pressure of the piston pin which does not have the oil supplysystem, filtration system and cooling system. The traditional method to solve the problemis making repetition tests. But this method may delay the R&D progress and it is also awaste of money, labour and resource.This paper is based on emulation technique for the lubrication of small end ofconnecting rod change of state, Dynamics analysis software AVL Excite Designer areused to build a simulation model of the connecting rod small end for making calculationand analysis of the change of oil film from different physische verursache. It makesanalysis for the displacement of piston, the speed of piston and the acceleration of piston.It also does research in other certain aspects including the angular displacement ofconnecting rod, the angular velocity of connecting rod and the angular acceleration ofconnecting rod.
