Comparing with traditional circuit breakers, intelligent circuit breaker isshowing obvious advantages. Intelligent controller’s tripping actuator as an important componentof the circuit breaker, its performance has a great impact on the entire circuit breaker‘s work. Thestatic characteristics of tripping actuator is an important criterion to judging the performance ofcircuit breakers; and the dynamic characteristics can reflect the moving process.The CM1Z intelligent circuit breaker is researched in the topic, dynamic and staticcharacteristics are simulated by the Ansoft Maxwell3D software. Before the simulation analysis,measuring the coil current, the spring force and the tripping force. First, the3D model ofintelligent controller tripping actuators is created in Maxwell3D,adding material properties,power incentives, meshing and solver settings; then, simulating its static characteristics in astatic magnetic field solver and analysising the electromagnetic distribution as well as themagnetic force mainly; once again, the dynamic characteristics is simulated with the transientmagnetic field solver and analysised for its coil current, core speed, magnetic force changes andthe minimum duration of the voltage pulse; Finally, by orthogonal experiment, designing thebetter size of the coil, iron core and magnet based on measurement and simulation data. |
