Nowadays our contry’s construction industry is flourishing.We can see tall buildings in theconstruction and the landmark building everywhere.However, the cost control system is still ininfancy and groping forward slowly.Into the period of market economy,many foreign advancedcost control theories and control methods are introduced to our country,under the newmanagement model,cost control begin to scientific.At present,many domestic enterprises costcontrol are good and they obtained profits while also saving resources for society.Cost control isnot only to avoid exceeding the capital limit,but also important to improve the utilization ofvarious resources in order to let limited resources play a greater role.Construction stage is a critical stage from drawing into fact,and it has many complexchanges. Subtle changes may lead to significant cost wasted and resulting in cost losingcontrol.Cost control in construction is very close contact between others’ stages.In order toeffective control and reduce costs,we need take reasonable measures to solve problems thoseaffect the engineering Cost in the construction stage.This article is at the general contractor’s position and focusing on analysis cost control workof A company resettlement residence project from start to completion.Accroding to the researchin cost runaway project of A company in the past,it exsists project contractmismanagement,on-site construction management confusion and other problems. From theproject overall consideration,in-depth to explore the various factors that affect the cost in theconstruction phase and analyze the effect of the construction organization design, duration,materials and other factors. Earned value analysis method is applied to this resettlementresidence project for cost and duration monitoring, analysis and coordinate control and proposinga control system to achieve cost effective control.
