| Cable status testing is a universal problem to all of the manufacturing enterprises. Thedissertation is based on the technological updating demands of cable-testing device whichrequested by some domestic helicopter production enterprises, and also a feasible plan about aCable Status Testing Device which has the capabilities of on-off testing, DC resistance testingand insulation testing.The whole device contains6function modules. PC software is considered as theman-machine interface to control the other function modules.51-MCU is the CPU of lowercomputers. The communication between each module is by the CAN-bus network.Firstly, this paper introduces an automatic selection method of multiple-core cable withrelay matrix, also explains the design of cable connector wiring board and the expansion of testpoints. Secondly, it analyses the features of both double bridge and pulse current, makes theimbalanced double bridge with constant current source as the solution of cable DC resistancetesting. A lot of theoretical derivation and simulation has been done before the parameters weresettled. Thirdly, this paper takes insulation resistance as the basis of insulation testing, and alsodiscusses all the technology parameters. Finally, it introduces a feasible plan about the constantcurrent source and DC-DC inverter source which controlled by51-MCU. Both the simulationand the lower computer programs are finished. The PCB has also been completed.Visual C++and SQL language are used to develop client software which has good datamanagement ability. The client software can control all the function modules exactly. In order tomake this device have flexible expanding ability of test function and test points, the paper tookthe CAN-bus as the communication network. The development of CAN-bus protocol and thehardware of CAN-RS232interface have been completed.After the completion of software and hardware developments, the client software, thefunction modules and the CAN-bus network have been debugged together. All of the work haslaid a good foundation for the following developments. |
