With the growing scale of China’s heating area, as well as the quality of the heatingrequirements continue to increase; the increase of the heating load is inevitable. Thedistribution capacity of the existing pipe network and the bearing capacity of the entireheating systems are put forward higher requirements. The renovation and expansion ofthe pipe network existing is a certain blindness, underestimated the load that may occur,the lack of a comprehensive assessment of the existing heating system carrying capacity,as well as the strategy is based on theoretical research, this topic in the context comesinto being.This paper briefly describes the multi-heat source supplying technology, distributedvariable frequency pump, mixing with water heating technology as key technologies toimprove the bearing capacity of the heating system. The carrying capacity concept isapplied to the heating field for the first time, which is proposed in two ways to describethe heating system carrying capacity.
