The continuous decks of simple-supported girder bridge are widely applying inhighway and urban road construction at present in our country, which are prone todamage in use due to lack of sufficient theoretical basis for the design of continuousdecks. It is especially in cold region that effects of seasonal temperature differencemore than others. To calculate and analyse the continuous decks of simple-supportedgirder bridge in cold region, this arcticle studied the construction forlow-temperature area.1. With Profound of summary and analysis the current situation of damagefrom continuous decks of simple-supported girder bridge studied on the key ofreason of damage.2. By using analytical method research on the points of continuous deckseffected by auto live load and temperature changing, and analyse the effectes ofparameter from analyticform.3. To do the numerical computation for the example of continuous decks ofsimple-supported girder bridge in cold region using the finite element software, andresearched the specific stress form and size for it.4. Studied on the effects of geometric structure form for continuous decks, computed and analyzed the one after local increased the thickness and reinforcementratio; length and the length of expansion joint.5. As material characterisation for topic, based on the effects of material andreinforcement with high performance material researched the results from using lowelastic modulus concrete and steel plate.6. By means of load effect combination compared the maximum tensile stressand the maximum crack width; determined two new construction types of thecontinuous deck in cold region.
