| The construction speed of concrete dam affects the entire hydraulic engineeringconstruction duration directly. The construction of the dam is restricted by manyfactors, such as dam structure forms, process technology, organizational forms and thenatural environment, therefore the preparation of the construction schedule ofconcrete dam simply relying on manual and experience has been far from satisfiedwith the status quo.Since the80s of the last century, the computer simulation had been used inconstruction organization design for the concrete dam. For its features, such as quickcomparison of a variety of placement schemes, inexpensive and high reliability, thecomputer simulation of the concrete dam had been proved to be an importantanalytical tools of analyzing the dam pouring process, planning the application ofmechanical equipments and demonstrating the dam placing schedule.Nowadays, the development and research of concrete dam simulation technologyhas been much more mature. But there are still some problems existing aboutestablishment of simulation models. The way that the model information is organized;the relationship between information is not descripted in detail; the model cannot beshared fully;The mode is hardly extended. Those problems decrease the staicturedness,legibility, universal property and expandability of models, and result in the conditionthat the model cannot be easily moved rfom one project to the others, and that hugeamount of workforce is wasted.In view of problems existing in the concrete dam construction simulation modeli-ng, this paper introduces the thought of BIM and IFC standards. The theoretical resea-rch of concrete damconstruction simulation information model is done in the following aspects:This paper uses the thought of BIM and IFC standardsto study the composition structure of concrete dam simulation information model, according to the informationincluded in the model to buildentity class, such as: the shape of dam classes,Machinery, controlling information classes.This paper uses the thought of object-oriented in IFC standards, according to the three classes mentioned above to expand, and establish the connection, so we can effectively organize the information in model.Constructing concrete dam simulation information model based IFC standards, developing simulation system and incorporating Navisworks, we import results to simulation system to make the simulation visualization more vivid. |
