Qili gou bridge is located in railway section from Ankang to Liang Jia Bar inXiangfan-Chongqing Railway Line Ⅱ, within which Ankang city, Shaanxi Province,upper Hanjiang River, in Ying Lake Reservoir area. Along the bridge, there existsXiangfan railway and geological and hydrological conditions are complex. The deepestwater level of construction is22meters. During the construction period, the schedulehad great relevance to the water level change, due to adjustment of the water level of thereservoir.Boring pile, high pile cap as well as the temporary structure such as the bored pileand water-stop steel cofferdam water-stop steel cofferdam are widely used in a largenumber of deep-water bridge foundation constructionIn this paper, under the background of the construction of the Qiligou Bridge.combining economic, schedule, technical, environmental, resource, and other factors,the author made further explored deepwater the bridge foundation construction in thereservoir area on the basis of the mature technology on bridge construction------bridgeconstruction used steel structure operating platform above water, which combined withsteel casings, way of steel casing follow-up facilities for underwater bored piles andsteel (hanging) box as underwater pile cap; analyzed the worst adverse conditions ofside panels and back planes on steel hanging (sets) box; provided design plan; throughmonitoring, proved that drilling platform and the water-stop steel cofferdam programare in line with the actual situation. In the process of the construction, solved thefollowing problems: drilling piles in the coastal geological landslide zone construction,concrete blockaded tube in the course of bored piles, a large number of collapsed sideintrusion cap position; achieved the project management objectives: environmentalprotection, safety, quality, schedule, effective, innovative.With the addition of Xiangyu railway line Ⅱ was opened to traffic on September20,2009, Qiligou bridge had been final accepted and put into use. It also means deep-waterbridge foundation construction technology is feasible in deep water of the reservoir area,complex geological conditions, bridge connected tunnel, as well as narrow and smallplace. It can be widely used and referenced by the similar bridge construction.
