With the fast development of world economics and economic global integration,the society presents higher demand to low-cost and timeliness of logistic transport. Asan advanced traffic organization and management form, container intermodal transportis a key building block in modern logistics system, and an effective way for logisticsenterprise to reduce logistics costs and improve logistical effectiveness at the same time.During the transportation of container intermodal transport, the selections oftransportation mode and transportation route are two significant contributors totransport efficiency, among which, the transportation expenses and transportation timeare the key factors for inter-modal transportation services can meet the needs ofprincipal or not.The selection of container intermodal transport network path based on the fixedtransport trips was researched in this paper, the network system and business process ofcontainer intermodal transport were presented at first, then considered the influence ofthe fixed departure trips of transportation mode, the total cost was divided into the costsof fixed-time departure, the costs of section transport, the costs of transfer and the costsof waiting for departure. And the total time was divided into the time for transportation,the time for transferring, the time of waiting for departure. The intermodal freighttransportation network was conversed, and the method of node splitting was used todeal with the transfer nodes of the intermodal freight transportation network. Anintermodal path optimization model with the goal of minimizing the total costs and thetime is set up, and an ant colony algorithm was chosen to solve the model while specificdesign and solving steps based on ant colony algorithm was given. At the last, scalculating example was presented to confirm the efficiency of the model andalgorithm.In this paper, by considering the factor of transportation mode, transportationcapacity, transportation time, transportation path and transportation cost in the actualtransport process, and bring in the influence of the fixed departure trips of transportationmode in node city, the model created could reflect the problem of container intermodaltransport network path more accurately and more actually. And the result based on antcolony algorithm could offer scientific evidence for multimodal transport operator todetermine the transport scheme.
