From the research on dielectric barrier discharge in this paper, it discussed theresearch conditions from home and abroad in recent years on the subject, the dischargeforms, discharge mechanisms and experimental devices are analyzed. At present, thestudy of the dielectric barrier discharge is relatively full, but the characteristics researchof the coaxial tube of the dielectric barrier discharge are relatively small.In this paper, in order to solve this poblem, experiments of the coaxial tube of thedielectric barrier discharge are analyzed, and influnce of discuss the change ofexperimental paramenters on the coaxial tube of the dielectric barrier dischargecharacteristics. The paper took one-dimensional fluid mechanics model for thefoundation at the same time, through used the Fortran programme of tridiagonal matrixchase-after method and finite difference method proposed by Scharferter and Gummelfor discrete later got linear equations, not only the time evolutions of the dischargecurrent, gas voltage and the surface charge density of the dielectric,but the space andtime distributions of the electric field and the electron, metastable state atom and iondensities are numerical calculated by solving the one-dimensional continuity andmomentum equations for electrons and ions, coupled to the current continuity equation.And the experimental results with numerical simulation results were compared withanalysis. The paper analyzed influence of the applied voltage, air-gap discharge,frequency, dielectric coverage of the electrode position, dielectric constant, dielectriclayer thickness and the radius of the wire electrode on the discharge current.In addition, the paper analyzed the volt-ampere characteristics of the coaxial tubedielectric barrier discharge in the pre-discharge mode and single-pulse current dischargemode. The same time, the paper analyzed its volt-ampere characteristics curve in thetwo charge modes were showed differential conductance and the analyzed influence ofthe coaxial tube of the dielectric barrier discharge on the volt-ampere characteristics.
