With the rapid development of science and technology, the production andprocessing method of machinery industry has been changed. The production plan is nolonger by a mass production way, which has been gradually transformed into timeprocessing and lean production. Therefore, the requirements of production and processingfacilities were subsequently further improved. The traditional mathematical modeling hasbeen unable to meet the complex arrangement of production facilities on demand.Taking a shipyard steel’s automatic storage and processing system as the researchobject, planning and designing it’s logistics of the warehouse automation, analyzing theshelf system, establishing the system simulation model and combining simulation systemand management system.Using ANSYS finite element program to take the static analysis of a full load shelf,designing the shelf by its strength and stiffness, analyzing its stability of structure forlimit load and probing the structure of composition rules and its rational form.Using the Flexsim simulation software to build a simulation model of the processingsystem with the core of Steel pipe storage AS/RS, researching the system state invisualization, observing the operation and analyzing the simulation results.Using Visual C#.net language as a software design platform, combining withdatabase technology and system simulation technology, developing automated warehouseand steel processing management system, designing a reasonable scheme for the logisticssystem.It looks forward to improving warehouse space utilization rate by designing areasonable plan and satisfy the need of the enterprise, to improve the storage efficiencyby modeling and optimizing the stacking machine scheduling problem, which canimprove the production efficiency to increase the competitiveness of enterprises.
