The electronic theodolite intersection measurement is a traditional large-scalecoordinate measurement method. It is widely used in basic industry and heavyindustry such as the integrated manufacturing and precision assembly process ofthe large workpiece(equipment), and provides effective support for the large-scalecoordinate measurement technology. But due to the manual labeling and aiming in themeasurement, the method has some drawbacks, such as complicated operation, lowefficiency, and the measurement accuracy easily affected by manual aiming error.Under the background of the requirements of the rapid, automatic and highprecision measurement and based on the traditional theodolite measuring methods,thevision measurement principle is introduced and a new automatic laser electronictheodolite measuring method is presented, which can be used in ship blocks. Thismethod uses the collimating laser coaxial with the sight-axis of theodolite to build themeasured mark on the surface of the measured workpiece, needs no cooperationtargets, and avoids a lot of manual marks on the large workpiece. Based on thetheoretical designed data module, it can realize to guide theodolite to measure theoryspace position rapidly and automatically. And according to the multi-resolution visionimaging tracking technology,the method realizes the automatic, rapid and highprecision measurement of the large-scale space and large workpiece. Bymulti-resolution camera tracking instead of human eye aiming, this method reducesthe impacts of manual error. And guided by the data module, the theodolite is guidedrapidly and automatically and it can improve the measurement efficiency. The mainresearch contents and work of this dissertation are described as follows:1With the analysis of the developing status of the shipbuilding industry at homeand abroad and application of large-scale coordinate measurement system, accordingto the developing requirements of shipbuilding industry, a new method based on thedigital module file and visual guiding theodolite automatic measuring is proposed.2Basic measuring principle, directional algorithm and the best theoreticalposition and zone in the measurement space for electronic theodolite system isdeduced.3Based on the coordinate transformation theory and camera calibrationtechnology, the calibration of the relative position relationship between the theodolites,camera and two dimensional turntable is realized.4According to the data module and vision tracking, a method of rapid andautomatic theodolite measurement is researched.5Based on SCM C8051F310, the control circuit of camera lens is designed.6According to seting up the experiment device, the calibration method, digitalmodule file guiding, visual guiding and lens drive circuit is experimentalized.
