In the19thcentury, the Austrian architect Camillo Sitte(1843~1903) firstproposed the concept of D/H ratio in his book “The Art Building Cities: city buildingaccording to its artistic fundamentals”. Then, the Japanese scholar further developedthe theory of D/H ratio of urban space in his two books “the Aesthetic Townscape”and “External Space Design”. The series spatial awareness methods originatedarchitectural visual analysis theory from the west in the nineteenth Century have beenwidely recognized by the designers in design of outer space, however, the essence ofwhich is static, which means people are aware of The city appearance change rapidly, city space has undergone tremendous changes. The appearance of high-rise buildings,Super wide buildings, and large architectural complex makes The original buildingvisual quantization theory in the modern city space design process emerge manyobstacles. In recent researches, some scholars have proposed two-dimensionalgraphical methods of city space field intensity on the basis of visual comfort, but thereare still many limitations. Based on the characteristics of modern city space, proposesa new method of division and calculation of architecture visual field intensity byusing parametric aided softwares. This assay explores the construction of the visual field of quantitative theoryfrom the point of human physiology and visual perception psychology, updates thequantitative methods, and Sums up a set of perfect visual field quantization theory andcalculation methods. At the same time, by means of parametric software, the paperhas simulation calculation of classic examples of complex external space and thecalculated results of classification and superposition of visual field among buildings. In the past quite a long time, many designers in and city design would like tosolve problems of architecture design and urban planning based on personalpreferences. They think design is decided by a variety of factors such as physics, ecology, behavior, aesthetic factors, and numerous unquantifiable factors such aseconomic, political factors. Thus, the scientific methods for designing process wereignored. We can get processing data by the methods of visual field among buildings.so that data processing can be used in systematically auxiliary design and analysis ofbuildings and external spaces and provide scientific basis for the design of space.
