Development And Application Of Loop Closing Operation And Analysis System For Urban Distribution Network

The requirements for power supply quality of urban distribution network areincreasing; it is an inevitable trend applies the loop closing operation analysis systemof city in dispatching work. This paper proposes and implements a series of technicalimprovement schemes on the existing "distribution loop calculation and analysissystem” in Tianjin Electric Power Company (TEPC), according to the problems andnew requirements in the system application.First, we analyze the technology of distribution loop operating system, anddevelop the technology in five aspects separately, such as the network topologymechanism, SCADA real-time system, load model, system security mechanism, andthe function of the operation and so on. We also introduced the principle of technicaldevelopment and the method of realization.Secondly, we introduce the application of this system in branch of TEPC. A caseis introduced to analyze the loop calculation application of switch245on10kVbus-tie of110kV substation in detail. The system which has launched officially afterbe developed in2011has run normally. By the year of2012, the system has been usedby six branches in TEPC. The old problems have been solved. The new system bringsefficiency in work and obvious economic and social benefits.In conclusion, the developed system in this paper can help dispatch personnel toanalyze loop check better, and to guide the closing loop operation more effectively.
