The planetary gear system is the core assembly and one of the most variable andcomplex terminal execution systems in the automatic transmission. To analyze andresearch the operation and control of the planetary gear system is an important taskfor studying automatic transmission and solving the practical problems.In light of the structural diversity and the complex control of the planetary gearsystem and the limitations of the traditional gear operation analysis, this paper studiesa large number of the structures of automatic transmission planetary gear system andthe characteristics of its operation, and on its basis, it develops an intuitive andpractical "restriction and vector analysis method" and proposes "optimization"strategies and principles for the shifting execution devices by mean of application ofbasic disciplines as well as the controlling principles and theories of the automatictransmission. Thus, in the case of a lack of technical information, resolved are thetasks of reversely deducting from the structure of the planetary gear system to thegear ranges obtained and operation states. It has provided the convenient and practicalanalytical methods and means to further solve the other problems in the practicalapplication. |
