The application of man-machine engineering theory has not already been perfected when designing the cab of domestic heavy-duty vehicle, and because of the man-machine engineering design defects of heavy-duty vehicle, most of the drivers suffer from body diseases on neck, shoulder and waist, and they are unhealthful to drivers’health. The article, according to the operating and driving characteristics of heavy-duty vehicles and the concerned national standards of man-machine engineering, uses the related knowledge of man-machine engineering to make mature cab design rationale applied to heavy-duty vehicle, and takes safety, health, comfort and efficiency as technical norms to carry out man-machine engineering analysis for Delong F3000cab.The text, takes Delong F3000present conditions for research object and briefly introduces vehicle body structure and cab functions; By means of questionnaires and the customer evaluation for the four fundamental elements influencing the cab man-machine performance, the shortages of man-machine engineering existed now in cab are concluded, and herein, the four elements consist of operability, man-machine interaction, visual field and cab internal environment. In conclusion, man-machine engineering theory is applied under the platform of CATIA, and based on the man-machine data of selected groups of human, view analysis, upper limb motion analysis, operating space analysis, the manipulatory analysis of handles and buttons, seated analysis and the convenience and safety analysis of getting on and off the cab are carried out for Delong F3000cab. From analyzing the result obtained, the operating feasibility of man-machine interface of Delong F3000cab is evaluated.
