Landscape Space Modification In Old Small Towns Of China

With the fast development of economy and society in China,the needs of urban renewing is larger with deeper design levels,and urbanization process is accelerating at a higher speed than ever as well. Depands on our unique national conditions.rural areas are still dromatically large here in China.Expediting the renewing construction of small towns can stimulate the development of rural areas effectively. At the same time,theory study and practise experience on this field is lacking in China.As a fact,rapid urbanization of small towns nowadays brings about some new negative phenomenons as follows.which lower the quality of urbanization and need instant resolvent,such like disappearance of towns’features and culture, environment pollution, decline of community attachment and so on.This paper focuses on two subjects,which are landscape space and proctective modification. Based on some far-reaching theories.the study takes environmental psychology and anthroponomy into consideration to improve accuracy,Firstly,this paper summarizes four major problems present,like the absence of landscape characteristics.destruction of local culture,pollution of our evironment.and the vanish of positive outdoor space,Secondly,it discusses the reasons lead to the problems above,and finds four kinds of conflicts of interests as follows,between "modern city features"and culture heritage,between improvement of space fundation and conservation of local life style,between the interests of land reform and public interests.between resourse conservation and urbanization.Correspondingly,this paper also provides five proper design principles like wholism keeping,environment protection,culture heritage, improvement of characteristics,and holding respects of public needs.To promote practicability,this paper also brings forward practise plans on landscape space modification,which including landscape space design of architecture, street, plaza,green space and historic context.To confirm the paper’s practical value,a concrete case of the landscape space design of Yunhe is provided.which follows the procedure offered in the preceding part.And the procedure contains investigation of construction details.defination of corresponding principles and final design plan deliberation.In conclusion,this paper trys to duild up a practical model in landscape space of old town modification area.to meet the demands of small towns’further development and inhabitants.
