The intelligence of respirator is increased greatly, which is crucial in the area of healthcare. Therefore the control and monitoring is being paid more extensive attention. Human-machine interface needs to be constantly improved because it reflects the technology level as a crucial component of the respirator. The research of telemedicine is gaining attention increasingly. As a result, the function of remote network communication and resource sharing has great significance.This paper mainly includes two parts. First, considering operation and appearance it designs the human-machine interface which has good practicality. Secondly, a complete website for the information system is designed to provide information to browser. The public image and culture of hospitals is promoted while the medical resources are shared. On the other hand it realize the connection and visit to database via the web by adding user management system then achieve the goal of remote sensing.The design of human-machine interface includes the User Login, System Menu, Parameter Display, Interface Settings and so on. The implementation methods are covered in detail in this paper, including the select of software and hardware, design process and UI effect.In the design of remote sensing, ASP (activities server page) as a kind of dynamic web development of technology, has a powerful database processing function. The combination of Dreamweaver and Javascript can realize the connection and visit to SQL database. Flash has extensive applications in Web design. It can interact with the database through ASP technology and transform the data into a variety of graphs and charts that we require. This paper primarily discusses how to have access to the databases using ADO recordset in order to refresh the information automatically on the webpage. It not only shows the information in the list box, but also intuitively shows the data with wavy curve.In terms of the data processing, pressure alarming function is added. By calculatingt breathing rates, evaluate the differences between actual and preset values. So the remote expert can process information in time.Finally it realised the basic function of human-machine interface to show users information as needed. Besides, it can communicate between the PC and the controller as well as connect to the database to meet the request of data access. The database can be operated by web application and the latest information are updated in time in order to achieve the remote sensing of ventilator.
