Concrete is one of the most common engineering building materials, which was widely used in the industrial and civil structures. With China’s economic growth and technological development, the size of the various types of construction projects are more and more larger, large bridges have sprung up,mass concrete crack problem has become one of the challenges faced by the construction of large bridges. Fluidity concrete and commercial concrete are frequently used in the current construction, but the cracking phenomenon is more common than in the past, coupled with the cement production now has a higher rate of heat, all of these make mass concrete temperature cracks problem which is more prominent becomes an issue to be considered.This paper includes the construction of the Jiujiang Yangtze River Highway Bridge, analyzes the temperature control data, which was compared with the software calculated results to finding some laws. We can avoid the emergence of cracks in concrete by using the double-doped technology, controlling the pouring temperature and the layout of cooling pipes, stratified pouring, real-time monitoring and other measures.The main content of this paper are:First, we discuss the significance and domestic and international research profile of mass concrete hydration heat analysis. Analyze of the current problems which still exist;Second, introduced the theory of heat of hydration analysis which are used to analyze the problem, including the heat conduction equation, the thermal properties of concrete and cement hydration heat, boundary conditions, transient temperature field of finite element theory and research the selecting of the appropriate parameters value, including thermal conductivity, specific heat, adiabatic temperature rise, etc.;Third, field measured the temperature curve of the construction phase of the bearing platform in Jiujiang Yangtze River Highway Bridge;Fourth, analyzed the measured temperature data, to summarize concrete hydration heat temperature changes in the law generally, from a practical point of view to study the heat of hydration of mass concrete;Fifth, using heat transfer theory and Midas Civil, create a3D simulation computational model of the object of study. Compare theoretical data calculated with the measured data, proposing a reasonable mass concrete hydration heat control principles and measures.
