A Study Of Dynamic Architectural Design Based On Functional Organization

In the wave of complex information, influenced by the philosophical and artistic field, contemporary architects break through the traditional limitations of culture and aesthetics. They would like to pursue a sort of dynamic architectural form through their personal interests and artistic tendencies in order to reflect the characteristics of dynamics, uncertainty and complexity of our contemporary society. This kind of architecture which is full of complexities, contradictions, ambiguities, uncertainties etc is dynamic architecture.With the development of informational technology, there is a growing focus on building requirements of adaptability and flexibility while lack of the form of behavior freedom and choice space has been unable to meet the demands of the development of contemporary society. Therefore, all these changes ask the traditional functional organization for a new request. Many architects break through the static, determined and single features on functional organizational relations to seek dynamic, uncertain and diversified tendency.By analyzing the works of contemporary architects, we know that in their many works they often design and create based on this new kind functional organizational relations, and then deriving the corresponding form and meaning, finally representing the constructional form or space as dynamic. So many dynamic works could be designed and created through researching new functional organizational relations and this paper is also trying to explore the dynamic architectural problems in the perspective of functional organization.This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter deals with the research background and current status of the dynamic construction. The second chapter interprets the concept, development process, theoretical foundation and dynamic expression of the dynamic architecture. The third chapter discusses the functional organizational characteristics of the dynamic architecture. The fourth chapter discusses the principles and methods of the functional organization of the dynamic construction. And the five chapter is the core which explains five kind of dynamic architectural methods based on the functional organization. The last part is the conclusion.
