Not only asphalt pavement temperature shrinkage crack is one of the main road diseases but also thefocuses of the Xinjiang province that in the north of China. Research on asphalt pavement cracking, atpresent is mainly fatigue cracking which start at the bottom of structural layer and roadbase existing crackreflection cracking, we has in-depth understanding to the cracking mechanism, and control measures haveachieved great success. But study of pavement structure form and the choice of gradation is less. The articlemainly from the perspective of pavement structure and design to research XinJiang drought crack structure,which through the laboratory test, road test and combining with the finite element software under thecondition of large temperature difference for the material design of asphalt mixture to provide new testbasis.First, investigating the Xinjiang highway asphalt pavement cracks, the cause of cracks andcharacteristics that both southern and northern of Xinjiang were analyzed. Analysis results show that theload and temperature difference were the main reasons of pavement cracks, and it was widespread andserious road surface disease in Xinjiang.Second, by using ABAQUS software to simulation the original construction scheme and the testsection of two kinds of pavement structure, research different pavement structure, the deflection ofdifferent distribution forms, stress and fracture strength factor change rule, what were under standard load.Then, Xinjiang S327line Jiangjun Temple--BeishanMines--Jiji lake test road project, reference SACtheory design method of Sha QingLin academician, main analyses the SAC and AC asphalt mixture’s hightemperature performance, low temperature crack resistance and pavement performance with type.Finally, Through laboratory test, road test and combined with ABAQUS software analysis SACgradation form had better load-bearing and crack resistance, as well as provides the new theory basis formaterial design of asphalt mixture under the low temperature condition.
