Renovation Design Of Old Factory Buildings Based On The Perspective Of Place Memory

Under the construction of modernization,the industrial zones left over from the previous policy of vigorously developing industry have become urban industrial cultural sites.Due to the lack of urban development experience,in the process of urbanization,it is basically demolished and built and the protection of the city’s own culture is ignored,resulting in the convergence of urban styles.This has drawn attention to the importance of industrial heritage in the development of cities.The direction of development of related policies has gradually changed to protection,development and reuse,and continuous improvement.The city’s characteristic source memory,the memory of different regions is also different,emphasizing the protection of memory,but also the uniqueness of the spirit of protecting places,in this era of rapid development,paying attention to the memory of places can highlight the local traditional culture.Explore the design methods of places to achieve the continuation of memory,and also provide new ideas for the conservation development of industrial heritage and the continuation of place memory.In view of the background and problems of the appeal,this thesis evaluates the selected factory construction memory elements based on the place memory,analyzes their reliability and validity,and then scores them by principal component analysis and fuzzy synthesis method.Finally,according to the scoring results,design strategies and design practices are proposed from five aspects: architectural layout,architectural style,site characteristics,spatial atmosphere,history and culture.This thesis is divided into six chapters,the first of which is the introduction part,which mainly expounds the research background,purpose and significance,research content and methods,and research status at home and abroad.The second chapter provides an overview of the relevant theories of site memory and old factory buildings,elaborates the theories involved in the thesis,analyzes relevant cases,extracts its design techniques,and paves the way for future design;The third chapter is the investigation and analysis of the memory elements of the 7432 factory,through the field investigation of the current situation of the research area,according to the theory of the previous article section and the relevant literature,the 7432 factory is constructed to sort out the memory elements,and provide scientific basis for the subsequent design;Chapter 4 is based on the design principles and design strategies of old factory renovation under the concept of place memory,puts forward practical principles and design strategies according to relevant theories and combined with reality,and puts forward design strategies from five aspects: architectural layout,architectural style,site characteristics,spatial atmosphere,history and culture according to the previous analysis;Chapter 5 is the renovation of old factory buildings based on the perspective of place memory——Taking the renovation design of Hengyang Dongyangdu 7432 factory as an example,this section makes specific applications of the strategies proposed above to form specific design schemes,and provides new ideas for future factory transformation and yin and void place memory.
