The Preliminary Study On Convention And Exhibition Building Exterior Environment Design

In the21st century,with the development of economic,led to the development of domestic Convention and Exhibition Industry into a period of rapid growth,therefore,the construction of Convention and Exhibition building in our country is also showing a thriving scene.On the one hand,the exterior environment of Convention and Exhibition Building largely determines the exhibition activities quality,and only providing quality exhibition building design and facilities has been unable to meet the needs of users.On the other hand,as an important part of urban open space,people have more demands for high quality of its.Under this background,research on the exterior environment of the Convention and Exhibition Building design is not only helps to consummate the theoretical study of domestic Convention and Exhibition building,more importantly,is to create an urban landscape which harmony with the natural environment and comfortable with fully humanistic concern.Firstly,this paper elaborate the concept of the Convention and Exhibition Building and its characteristics,define the scope of the study in its external environment,summed up the elements and functions of the external environment of Convention and Exhibition building.Secondly,analysis the Convention and Exhibition Building’s external environment design factors from four different levels of the city,site,building and users.Thirdly,according to study the domestic and international cases exploring the development characteristics of the contemporary external environment of Convention and Exhibition Building.Fourthly,based on the investigation and study of some domestic Convention and Exhibition Buildings,analyse the status of domestic external environment design of Convention and Exhibition Building.Finally,I propose the design principles and methods,and then provide some beneficial reference to the exterior environment design of Convention and Exhibition Buildings in China.
