| With the increase of coal mines, The number of the flameproof locomotive demand as main transport equipment of coal mine also will be increased, because of the inflammable gas and explosive materials such as coal dust under the downhole, flameproof locomotive diesel engine research becomes more and more important.The engine inlet and exhaust resistance increases because of flameproof device.So fuel combustion is not full,it lead to the engine’s performance declined, fuel economy and exhaust emission. Using numerical simulation flow field characteristics of flameproof diesel engine air intake system can shorten the research cycle and reduce the research cost. Through structural optimization of blast engine air intake system, can improve the combustion performance of the flameproof motor, and improve its performance and fuel economy, But at the same time it can reduce the exhaust emissions of pollutants effectively.This paper analyses and calculates the4100flameproof diesel engine’s flame arrester, air inlet pipe and the air intake system with F1UENT software. Improved the structure of original model where it is unreasonable in order to reduce the loss of inlet pressure and increase air input. This paper’s main research content is as follows:First of all, analysis the structure of the flameproof diesel engine’s air intake system, the necessity of the flame arrester and contrast after explosion protection effects on emissions.Second, the flame arrester structure was optimized from two aspects. A flame arrester dome structure optimization, part the flame arrester dome cylindrical; Second, optimized flameproof unit structure, on the basis of the original model proposed two improved schemes, respectively is fire element aperture section is square and circle. Calculated by simulating when stretched flame arrester diversion cover and remove the gas flow in cylinder part can avoid flame arrester of eddy current; Will fire unit circular aperture section by the triangle to gas flow pressure loss in the flame arrester are smaller, more conducive to the smooth flow of gas.Again, put forward to improve the intake pipe’s structure. Let the inlet entrance of the original inlet pipe arrange the middle of the original inlet pipe.Through calculation and analysis simulation. When inlet entrance is decorated in the intermediate position of the inlet manifold the gas distribution more uniform.Finally, contrast the gas mass flow rate of air intake system between improved and the original system. Calculated by simulating the improved effect of inlet air intake system. The original system has be improvement. Each cylinder of air inflow have varying degrees of increase. |
