Study On Green Space System Planning In Livable City

Our city has been developing to meet the demands of inhabitants. However, nowadays there are too many problems in a lot of cities, making them do not comply with the livable standard. So how to build a livable city has been put on the agenda.In the process of building a livable city, green space system should be given more attention as it plays a powerful feature.Based on the above background and the basic idea of the livable city theory, this paper takes Taiyuan as an example,explores a set of suitable theories and methods for the development of a city,and optionally lists the specific planning provisions for policy-makers and urban planners.First of all, the concept of a livable city and its features, elements and evaluation criteria are put forward to reposition the role of green space system in the construction of urban environment, especially in the construction of livable city’s urban environment,and make a new understanding about the connotation of green space system and its features, levels and functions.This paper starts with lessons learned from development and construction process of domestic and international famous livable urban green space system, reveals the feasibility and necessity of the establishment of a green livable target system in the process of urbanization of Taiyuan.Secondly, the elements that influence the Green Space System are analysed from the level of urban construction and livable cities constitute.After reviewing Taiyuan’s urban construction history and green space system planning history, a conclusion based on the main factors that green space system planning and design should considered on nature,economic and humanities. Moreover, the status of planning and construction for Taiyuan livable urban green space system is introduced,then the advantages and some inspiration which the system brings us are summarized to find existing problems and solutions to them. Finally a future planning objective is listed and some methods for city green space system planning and design in the process of building livable cities in the future are discussed.At Present, cities in the China are going through a developing period at top speed, and it have to build livable city from now on. As a tie of city and nature, green space system planning should take its responsibility to make contributions to building livable city and improving human settlements.
