The rapid development of campus prompts people to pay attention to its construction. Meanwhile, the main users usually place excessively high expectation on the comfortable and pleasant environment.Therefore, the public art has great influence on the construction of the campus environment, and an successful one should reflect the history and culture of its campus, which plays an important role in the continuation of its culture and innovation. Besides, the campus public space art is the catalyst of creating a favorable campus environment and help the people be involved in the campus. The campus public art serves the campus as an "invisible classroom", which reflects the educational function of the school. However, in its current development, a large number of problems come out. For instance, many school style usually follow the same pattern, failing to reflect its own features associated with its historical story, and its works are usually roughly designed, which leads to its monotonous and void atmosphere. Such campus public art is largely against the modern concept of "green design", no matter how many works have been made.This paper is devoted to appealing people to realize the fact that the campus public art should reflect the meaning of "public", and from the perspective of "interactivity", to illustrating the innovation of "public" so that it cannot lose its original essence in its educational environment as well as create a interactive environment in the public space怂In this paper, the author attempts to elaborate the subject---the campus public arts should enhance the interactivity between teachers and students, between the main users and campus, between the main users and aesthetic perception, from the following aspects, namely, the interactivity of the campus public space, the factors affected its design as well as the exploration of its design. Besides, the author will use some cases to detailed illustrate the subject and explain how the public art have a positive effect on the campus.
