With the rapid development of our state highway industry, many highways usefullives have reached the end of its useful life, or due to environmental factors andoverloaded, overloading the car more and more, leading to the highway to reduce itsservice life, so many roads are needed conservation. According to statistics, it is about12%of the asphalt pavement to be renovated every year, probably more than220tonsof the asphalt material waste generated, it has become a problem to all relevant unitsabout how to deal with these asphalt material waste. It can make the broken roadsrestore the original road performance through the cold recycling technology. Thistechnology line with China’s national conditions, and is also conducive to theconservation of limited natural resources.Base on the cold recycled mixes experience in renewable technologies and researchresults from our country and abroad. First the paper studies the performance of theasphalt pavement material, and evaluates the degree of the aging of the physicalproperties and the old asphalt milling material. It also introduces the renewablestrength formation mechanism of the emulsified asphalt cold recycling mix.Secondly, according to the determined cold renewable synthetic graded mixes, thecold renewable optimum moisture content、the best emulsified asphalt content and theporosity of the mixture are analyzed from different methods, in order to determine thecold recycled mixtures optimum mix ratio.Again, according to the determined emulsified asphalt cold recycling mixture ratio,the basic performance of emulsified asphalt mixture pavement, especially the dynamicmodulus, dynamic creep and fatigue performance are studied. Finally, this paper also studies the construction technology and quality controltechniques of emulsified asphalt cold recycling. And relying on the test road, theeconomy of emulsified asphalt plant mix cold recycling technology are analyzed, theresults show that emulsified asphalt mixing plant cold recycling technology can be agood meet the relevant road performance, and it is a technical approach with thesocial and economic benefits.
