The scheme optimization of bridge alteration is the process to select the bestmethods out of several bridge reinforcement scheme or newly built bridge scheme toreform the bridge. Along with the development of the economy and social demand, thepressure of traffic dredging the economy is also increasing. The various aspects ofrequirements increase high to bridge as the hub of transportation networks. At the sametime, some bridge, because of bad disease and defects, cannot meet the functionalrequirements. In order to ensure smooth traffic, it will need to guarantee the normal useof bridge or to enhance carrying capacity of the bridge by reforming these bridges.How to regard of the technical requirements and meet the economic requirements forbridge alteration is a decision-making problem, therefore the research on schemeoptimization for bridge alteration is extremely important.First of all, reviews and summarizes the domestic and external decision theoryand the situation and the existing problems of its application in bridge alteration in thisthesis. And then introduces the relevant theoretical system of the decision theory andthe methods of comprehensive evaluation. On the basis of the analysis according to theactual situation of bridge alteration, set up index, factor that influence thedecision-making of bridge alteration, system of scheme optimization for bridgealteration. Then choose J2EE platform and use the My-Eclipse, a softwaredevelopment tools, to achieve the decision support system (DSS) which is suitable forscheme optimization of bridge alteration.Development of decision support system is a research trend for the schemeoptimization of bridge alteration to be easy, scientific and systematic. The conclusionsof the research of this article provides reference for the development of simple,extension, multi-function, user-oriented decision support system of schemeoptimization bridge alteration.
