Based on the former research, the key technical problems in the process ofbridge alteration and extension were studied and optimized by means of theoreticalanalysis and engineering application. The main research results are as follows.(1)This study applied the improved method of technical specification to theperformance evaluation of the bridge technology, and combined that with static loadtest evaluation and prediction of technical property, evaluating the performance of thebridge technology synthetically, which provides technical basis for thedecision-making of bridge alteration and extension.(2)This study suggested that use the existing method of regression analysis andMarkova prediction for prediction of prediction of technical property and determinethe transformation countermeasure of highway bridges according to the predictedresults. The basic principles for the bridges that needed to demolish and rebuild werealso put forward.(3)Acombination of comprehensive evaluation of the decision-making powerof the average synthesis model was proposed on the basis of a single decision-makingmodel on the reinforcement of the bridge to solve the problems of the singleevaluation conclusion inconsistency, optimizing the bridge reinforcement scheme andmaking the strengthening plan more reasonable.(4)Optimize the decision model of the bridge widening bridge. Consideringthe integrity, the influence of uneven settlement, construction convenience, beautifuland comfortable, and economic rationality, put forward the calculation method ofshear bearing capacity of the equivalent joint, and joint shear capacity comparison inthe comprehensive decision-making model to determine the optimal way of widening.(5)Based on the common diseases of bridge deck pavement, optimization forwidening bridge deck pavement was proposed from the aspects of design andconstruction.(6)Optimization study was done on the organization management inconstruction from the aspect of the transformation of the old bridge, infrastructure construction technology and the upper structure construction process. The entirequality control of construction quality on the bridge alteration and extension wassuggested to ensure to achieve the goals of bridge alteration and extension.
