Medium frequency power supply source of induction heating is widely applied inmany fields of the industry, such as surface of quenching metal parts, inductionmelting, heating bar stocks. The analog circuit of traditional mid-frequency powersupply source by using, which has some shortcomings, complexity of electro-circuits,weak anti-jamming capability etc, is difficult to satisfy modern industry production.With popularization of mid-frequency power supply source, the requirement ofperformance and stability is higher and higher. The paper is to study a new kind ofmid-frequency power supply source of induction heating, which is controlled byTMS320F2808DSP chip.Firstly, the development history is reviewed in this paper, development situationand trends domestic and abroad of power supply source of induction heating. Thendesign content and technical requirements are also introduced. The design is not onlyto improve traditional mid-frequency power supply source by analyzing thetopological structure of the source, but also select appropriate device models bycombing circuit parameters of technical requirements.The main circuit based on AC-DC-AC conversion has great advantages such ashigh efficiency, stability of output voltage, high power factor and high anti-jammingcapability. No-controlled rectifier of diode is adopted in the rectifier stage of systemcircuit to reduce the difficulty of the power control and improve the power factor.Full-controllable power conversion device IGBT is used in the inverter stage,it’s hada substantial increase in switching frequency.DSP produced by TI Company of the America is used in the core control part todesign the minimum system; It is to achieve the transformation of variety of data. Toachieve frequency tracking it’s used the combination of hardware and software, whichselects the rapidity of hardware as well as the flexibility of software. Output power iscontrolled by the control principle of the classic phase-shift. The paper gives aintegral abruption-weakened limit PID algorithm to improve the adjusted speed andthe stability of the system. During the study, the procedure of medium frequencypower supply source of induction heating is compiled by software CCS. The softwareimplementation process is gave, it’s used to switch and dispose data to control outpower and dispose frequency. and prototype of the source is designed.From the dataof the output waveform of oscilloscope and instrument observation, the prototypesource meets the design requirements after debugging through the success of related hardware and software as well as testing laboratories. The frequency power supplysource controlled by DSP not only improves the output performance, but also has highdevelopment value.
