Application Of Modular Configuration Technology In The Design Of Wheel Loader Of LiuGong

As the main products of earth moving machinery, wheel loader was developing to the series, species diversity, and configuration personalized direction. The enterprise competitiveness would be considerable increased through rapidly, accurately and low cost to meet market demand. Modular design is a kind of design method for improving design efficiency, the design cycle can be shorten and production cost to meet changing customer personalized needs can be reduced. Therefore, the modular design and configuration technology method was comprehensive and deeply studied, and the research achievements were put into application of Liugong wheel loader.In the first chapter, the research background, technical background and project background in brief introduced. Present research and status of modular design in china and oversea were summarized.In the second chapter, the core ideas of modular design were briefly introduced. Based on the analysis of modular design core ideas and directed to the wheel loader feature and Liugong products feature, the modular design methods for Liugong wheel loader were researched and proposed, which were mainly the primary structure method and product platform method.In the third chapter, according to the wheel loader modular design methods, combined with Liugong product design and production practice, the work began on the modularity basic work. A deep research on modular technology from machine, components to parts level was described, the wheel loader configuration regulations are presented. And base on cases, parts modularization process in different levels of the wheel loader in detail were given, which support wheel loader module configuration design.In the fourth chapter, based on modularity mothod and technology for wheel loader research, by using the modular design support system developed in the863project and the product data management system (PDM) of Liugong, the modular and configuration design mothod was applyed to Liugong wheel loader. In the fifth chapter, the result of research was summarized and the deficiencies in research and future direction were studied.
