In recent years, due to the advantages of stronger ability to clean, minimalclothing wear and tear and minimal power and water consumption, the front-loadingwashing machine has made rapid development and rapid increase. However, with therapid growth of the front-loading washing machine industry, the vibration problemhas been plaguing people. Whether the vibration problem of the front-loadingwashing machine can be effectively solved or not determines the development of thefront-loading washing machine industry.With the aim to improve the problems faced by front-loading washing machine,the virtual prototype of the front-loading washing machine with a balancer has beenmade by ADAMS virtual prototype technology.According to the parametric model ofthe front-loading washing machine, the characteristics of the vibration were analyzedin the state of high-speed dehydration in order to find the most critical parameterswhich affect the vibration of the front-loading washing machine as well as the mostoptimal way to reduce the vibration of the front-loading washing machine, so as toprovide a theoretical reference for the vibration analysis of the front-loading washingmachine.In this paper, the structural characteristics and vibration characteristics of thefront-loading washing machine were also analyzed. According to the existinganti-vibration technology of the front-loading washing machine, passive balancingtechnique was applied to front-loading washing machine.According to thecharacteristics of the solid balancer and the liquid balancer which have beenrespectively analyzed, this paper presented a parametric model of front-loadingwashing machine with a ball balancer. Through using the passive balancingtechniques, this paper expects to find new methods to partly or even completelyreplace the counterweights, so as to solve the problems like that large mass, high cost,and difficult to transport and other issues.In this paper, the main parameters of the front-loading washing machine wererespectively analyzed through the use of parametric model. The relationship betweenthe main parameters of the suspension system, counterweights and balancer and thevibration of the front-loading washing machine was summarized.In short, this paper proposed a new method to deduce the vibration of thefront-loading washing machine and summarizd the advantages and disadvantages of the new method. The main parameters which impact the vibration of the front-loadingwashing machine was found through the use of the parametric model built inADAMS.The relation between parameters and vibration was also obtained byoptimization and experiments.
