The Guangdong Provincial Expressway Construction Agent System Management Research

In recent years, with the rapid economic development of our society, highwayconstruction projects have entered an unprecedented development stage. Highwayconstruction requires the support of a substantial amount of money, manpower and materialand it covers in all aspects extensively and detailedly. The original quaternity managementmodel has some disadvantages. Under the circumstances that engineering problems areincreasingly complex, it requires better management if the investors want to achieve theinvestment objectives, progress goals and quality objectives.This paper analyzes the status of China’s highway construction project management andelaborates the advantages of the use of Agent System for the highway project management onthe basis of the summary of the highway engineering and building mode home and abroad.The paper also explores the Agent System for the highway project management and providesa theoretical basis for the implementation of Agent System mode in the process of highwayproject construction management by introducing the trial status and application advantages ofAgent System in Shenzhen.This paper is set in ZengCong highway project which was finished by GuangzhouExpressway Co. Ltd. The writer makes a research of the specifics and analyzes the effects ofthis project. The paper also clarifies the feasibility and necessity of Agent System in ahighway construction project in Guangdong Province. In addition, it points out the problemsof this system and makes some recommendations. The paper ends with the outlook of nextsteps.
