In recent years, Chinese railway construction career has obtained the magnificentachievements which attract worldwide attention; especially the high-speed railway andpassenger dedicated line usher in an unprecedented golden period of development. With theDecember26,2012, the Beijing-Guangzhou high-speed railway officially opened operation, the four longitudinal main lines in China’s "long-term railway network plan" all have beenjoined up, China has basically built the world’s largest high-speed railway network, andwhether the mileage and the construction mileage ranked the first in the world, high-speedrailway has become China’s "national card". Under the condition of the high-speed railwaynetwork operation, inevitably there will be cross-line trains. When cross-line trains and trainshave a certain speed difference, there will be transport organization of different speed trainswork by collinear and joint operation. What effects does the different speed trains collinearand joint operation produces on high-speed railway capacity, how do all the factors thatinfluence high-speed railway capacity exactly affect the high-speed railway itself. To answerthese questions, it is necessary to have an extensive and in-depth analysis of various factorsthat influence high-speed railway capacity, so that understand the impact of Medium SpeedTrain gets on the high-speed line to influence the high-speed railway capacity. This paper summarizes the mode of high-speed railway transportation organization of allthe countries in the world, has an analysis and comparison of separate advantages anddisadvantages, analyzes the application of the various transport organization mode, laysspecial stress on analyzing mode of transportation organization and its own characteristics of“mixed operation of high and middle speed” that are suitable for China’s national conditionsand road situation; Introducing the concepts, characteristics, computations and influencingfactors of high-speed railway capacity, and specially analyzing the factors of high-speedrailway capacity from the aspects of equipment and transportation organization.Briefly introduces the application of cellular automata in the transport field and theworking principle of moving block system. On this basis, regard “mixed operation of high andmiddle speed” mode of transportation organization as the background, and built the cellularautomata mode of train tracking running under the condition of moving block system. Besides, simulate the passenger flow divisions that are consisted of many stations. For example,high-speed railway, joint operation of moderate speed trains. Analyzing the changingregularity of buffer time, proportion of medium speed trains, station spacing and other factorsaffect the high-speed railway capacity and train average speed. From the simulation results: the departure interval is an important factor to affect thehigh-speed railway capacity, the suitable departure intervals can improve high-speed railwaycapacity; The ratio of Medium Speed trains is of paramount importance to high-speed railwaycapacity, and reduce the ratio of Medium Speed trains can improve the high-speed railway division capacity to some extent; station spacing is also one of the influencing factors affectshigh-speed railway capacity, the selection of reasonable station spacing is concerned with theratio of Medium Speed Train. On this basis, proposed the strengthening measures ofhigh-speed railway capacity: Shorten the departure time interval, change the mode oftransport organization, adjust Medium Speed Train proportion and set the appropriate stationdistance and other measures.
