Study On Planning Of The Small Town Road Network

Recently, a climax never seen before appeared in the small town construction, onsteadier policies of national "small town, big strategy". However, the network systemof small towns’ road was considered bit less. In addition, this phenomenon will lead toshort board and bottle neck of towns’ development. Consequently, the phenomenon isrestricting the regional financial development. In order to speed up the pace of thedevelopment of small towns, their existing urgent need in researching the method ofsmall towns’ road net planning.This thesis will base on domestic and foreign research background, to analyzethe existing problems of domestic road network planning. Simultaneity, the smalltowns’ road net is researched in detail through theoretical analysis and examplecalculation.In the first instance, the paper will analyzed and divided the types of small townsfrom many aspects, and redefined the research subject in this paper; then author willseize traffic characteristics in the small towns and make a deeply analysis on thetraffic problems of small towns. Meanwhile, by the combination of these problems,the thesis can be summed up the road classification way for different scales, differentareas, and different levels of economic development in small towns. Moreover, thisthesis will puts forward the method of different classification.Secondly, this thesis will focus small towns on the research subject. Moreover,the whole subject will be analyzed from the point of view of saving time, manpowerand material resources, and then using OD matrix technology to finish the trafficdemand forecast. Simultaneity, this paper will start with the information of land onlocation, and establish the traffic generation forecasting model for small towns andtraffic distribution forecasting model and traffic assignment with multi-path-capacitylimit model, in order to determine the route of small towns’ road network planningand traffic forecasting technology. Ultimately, the feedback effects of the trafficforecasts on the road network planning will be analyzed.Thirdly, the thesis will focus on analyzing the index of small town road netplanning, then combined with examples should be established in line with thecharacteristics of local city planning index system. The type of the road net layoutwill be analyzed based on the planning of small towns’ road network system indifferent aspects, such as the local natural, scientific. Qualitative analysis therelationship between the road network layout and land use, and establish a modelbetween the transport capacity and the price of land; combined with the layout of theroad network and the development model of road network, Adoption of establishcalculation model and reasonableness of quantitative research the structure of thesmall town road network to determine the planning of roads and the status quo of theroad the network structure is reasonable.On the other hand, the ideas and steps of road net planning in small towns weredetermined in this thesis. Meanwhile, in order to provide the reference for the practice of small towns’ road net, cross-section layout and intersection forms selection will beanalyzed.In conclusion, the dissertation will with the case of the small towns’ road net inQing City, validating the theory and method of highway network planning layout insmall towns.
