Herringbone frame is indispensable to some mechanical equipment, as onecomponent of the basic components of these mechanical equipment, in not reducingequipment parts strength premise, to prevent the equipment has the danger, and reducethe cost of manufacturing engineering, which makes the herringbone frame researchmore and more important. Based on the study of the theory of modern design and theresearch of herringbone frame of a Herringbone frame within reuse is detailedlyresearched and analyzed, herringbone frame design model was established for theherringbone frame3d dynamic simulation, and the size of herringbone frame isoptimized. Herringbone frame of optimized structure of virtual assembly was obtained,and the ideal herringbone frame structure; In this way, the finite element analysis iscarried out herringbone frame structure, obtain the corresponding study the stress anddeformation of the image.The main work of this study is to establish herringbone frame’s structural analysis.On the premise of meet the strength and stability, Matlab was used to do optimizationanalysis aimed to get the minimum structure size of the herringbone frame which has acertain size. Then used Solidworks to do a3d modeling optimization and virtualassembly analysis for the optimized herringbone frame, obtain the corresponding studythe stress and deformation of the image.The optimization and analysis result show that there are many advantages whenusing Matlab to solve the problem of mechanical optimization and design, such as easysolving, simple programming, reliable result, high efficiency. Solidworks would use thedate obtained by Matlab optimized to set up a3d model of herringbone frame and carryout a finite element analysis on it, let the calculate date3d visualization displayed andfacilitate a better understanding of the result, the model above is more in line with theactual requirements of project. The visualized analysis result further proved that thestructure size of herringbone frame optimized by Matlab was correct, and the followedstructure design was to determine the feasibility of reducing body weight. This method not only made the structure size of herringbone frame has been optimized, working time,labor cost,resource cost reduced, but also provided a kind of idea and method that can beused for reference for the people who professional study it. The research result shows agreat significance for practical engineering.
