Portal crane is the most typical material handling machinery in Port bulkterminal. through in-depth research and technological innovation of luffing system,Wuhan University of Technology designs a inner container gantry crane. Comparedwith other common portal cranes, it has many advantage such as high efficiency,large working range, performance,light weight and structure of the force amplitudeis very excellent.As an important portal crane support structure,It props up the top ofthe boom system and balance system. Therefore, analysis of herringbone frame ofportal crane design loads and the forces structure has important practical value.In this paper,taking herringbone frame of inner container gantry crane for thestudy.An analysis method is introduced to research Mechanics by the StressInfluence line and Displacement Influence line.Completing the mechanical analysison the herringbone frame of the combination luffing system.method of research inthis paper is that using of finite element method to build herringbone framemodel.Solving the finite element model built up by software to draw by the force ofcircumstances of each situation.Drawing influence lines of stress and displacementto analyze.In this article I made specific content includes the following aspects:(1) Finishing building model of herringbone frame of inner container gantrycrane by SOLIDWORKS and ANSYS software.(2) For load combinations and working conditions of inner container gantrycrane, to determine the force herringbone frame load combinations. by analysis ofherringbone frame’s Stress, drawing the force curve of herringbone frame in eachhinge point. Provide input conditions of finite element analysis.(3) using ANSYS software to solve finite element analysis of the herringboneframe of portal cranes under different conditions.(4)Using brute-force method to draw stress and displacement influence linesof herringbone frame in representative positions.By in-depth analysis of herringboneframe clearing the action of influence line.(5)Finally, using modal analysis method to analysis herringbone frame,got a ten bands before herringbone frame natural frequencies and mode shapes.providethe basis for evaluating the merits of its vibration characteristics...
