The rapid development of urban brings large number increasing in building trade, it alsoleads to a large waste of energy. It has been a tendency that people pursue efficiencywithout quality in building trade, especial in high-level residential buildings. Design thelargest volume rate in control have been the demand of most property developer, and forgetthe importance of natural ventilation. In order to meet the demand for ventilation forbuildings, refrigeration and heating, we have to depend on all kinds of mechanicalequipment. Obviously, the waste of energy is beyond imagination. Wuhan is a city with hotsummer and cold winter, so the consumption of energy is great. We need reasonable designof architecture mitigation energy crisis.This paper consideration of the feature of geographic, environment and whether inWuhan, from the perspective of design to research and analysis the natural ventilation ofpassive energy-saving technology in high-level residential buildings,. Moreover, it wouldbe proved by model analysis. This paper contains five chapters:The first chapter is introduction, including the background, current situation ofbuilding saving conservation, research methods and contents. The second chapter give anoutline of two kinds of saving technology, Then,analysis the theories and methods ofnatural ventilation in order to give academic proofs for design The third chapter seeksmethods from instance by listing some example of passive ventilation. The four chapter issimulation analysis one, first giving precondition by analyzing the feather of geographic,environment and whether in Wuhan,Then,analyzing a real residential block and improvingits design in respect of passive ventilation. The last chapter of this paper is conclusion,summary this paper and point out the issue which need to improve in further discussion.
